Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 20 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help deliver clean, safe environments for our clients and customers.

The shift pattern is mornings Mon to Fri, with a 49.2 week per year contract. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a flexible approach to cover the Defence, Government and Energy services sector.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on and flexible approach to work.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
