Job summary

LVS Hassocks is seeking an Exam Manager to take ownership of planning, organisation and delivery of mock and public examinations across the school. The role requires meticulous accuracy, calmness under pressure and strong safeguarding values.

You will work with students, teaching staff, examination boards and invigilators to coordinate entries, timetables and access arrangements while ensuring compliance and smooth exam delivery across 40 weeks per year.

• Proficient with spreadsheets, laptops and Chromebooks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver mock and public examinations in accordance with JCQ regulations.
• Manage examination entries, amendments, timetables, seating plans and access requirements.
• Recruit, train, coordinate and support invigilators.
• Ensure examination papers, scripts and confidential materials are secure.
• Liaise with students, staff, heads of department and examination boards.
• Support candidates with access arrangements, including laptop concessions.
• Coordinate results activity and handling of certificates and reviews.
