Job summary

Galliford Try in Leicester is seeking a part-time Estimator to join our pre-construction team. Reporting to the (Senior) Estimator, you will handle bid management, cost planning and pricing for infrastructure tenders.

You will measure quantities from drawings (Bluebeam) and prepare tender docs, sub-contract and material enquiries. A proven track record on small/medium infrastructure tenders and a clean driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of preparing tenders for small/medium infrastructure projects.
• Experience of working with a Main Contractor is advantageous.
• Driving licence is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost planning and estimating for tenders and pricing.
• Measure quantities from drawings and prepare bill of quantities.
• Prepare and issue sub-contract and materials enquiries and tender documentation.
• Support commercial review of opportunities and tender documents.
• Develop supply chain relations to optimise commercial position.
