Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Estate Services Operative to provide cleaning and estate services across two sites in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire. The role is temporary and part-time, 25 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00am-12:00pm or 8:00am-1:00pm.

Pay rate is £13.92 per hour, and contractDates run from 24 August 2026 to 15 November 2026. Basic DBS is required and candidates should be reliable, practical and able to work across different sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, estate services or a similar role.
• Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Physically able to carry out manual duties.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Basic DBS required.
• Desirable NVQ or equivalent qualification in Cleaning or Environmental Services.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas to a high standard, including lifts, stairwells, floors, walls and windows.
• Keep refuse areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Carry out litter picking and remove bulk rubbish and fly tipping.
• Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
• Use PPE and cleaning machinery correctly and report any faults or incidents.
• Follow risk assessments, COSHH requirements and other health and safety procedures.
• Assist with tasks such as snow clearance, gritting and minor repairs in communal areas when required.
• Manage and report cleaning materials and equipment.
• Use scheduling software to record daily activities.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as directed.
