Job summary

Parkhead Housing Association Ltd seeks an Energy Advisor on a fixed-term contract for two years. The role is part-time (28 hours per week) and on site in Glasgow, with a pro-rata salary range of £36,517–£39,921.

The successful candidate will provide practical energy advice and advocacy to residents, addressing fuel poverty and promoting energy resilience within the community. A City & Guilds Energy Awareness Level 3 Award and in-home advisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy advice and/or advocacy services.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of fuel poverty and community challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored energy advice to residents to reduce energy consumption.
• Advocate for residents and coordinate with partners to ensure inclusive services.
• Support in-homes assessments and practical energy-saving actions.
