Job summary

CMD Recruitment is assisting a well-established electronics manufacturer in Melksham to hire two Part-Time Production Technicians. You will assemble electronic products to specification, use soldering and crimping tools, and follow wiring diagrams in a supportive, quality-focused environment.

Part-time, permanent roles with pro rata salary £26,000–£29,000 and flexible hours from 9:00–15:00. School hours-friendly shifts and on-site parking are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or electronics environment.
• Confident in soldering and basic electronic assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication.
• Electronics/Engineering qualification a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build electronic products to specification.
• Use soldering, crimping, and heat shrink tools.
• Read and work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Report build issues to Production Supervisor.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout the process.
