Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust is seeking a Care Co-ordinator for a fixed-term post until October 2027, working 22.5 hours per week within the EIP service. The role supports individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis, with responsibilities spanning assessment, care planning and delivering psychosocial interventions.

The post is part of a multidisciplinary team, operating across Greater Manchester, with a focus on NICE guideline adherence and carer involvement.

Qualifications

• Essential: Nursing (RMN, CPN) OR Social Work OR Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the regulatory body as applicable; NMC, HCPC, SWE
• Desirable: Evidence of CPD and continued professional development

Responsibilities

• Complete specialist assessments (PANSS) for referred service users in the EIP service; training provided and assessments completed by 2 staff members
• Contribute to adherence to NHS England Access and Waiting Time Standards (Referral To Treatment) for EIP
• Manage a caseload of service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis, including needs assessments, care planning and psychosocial interventions
• Adhere to responsibilities for people under CPA/CMHF, including offering/arranging carers support
