Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nurse Associate to join the EIP Physical Health Team in Manchester. The role supports service users across three EIP teams with physical health assessment, monitoring and interventions, including home visits and clinic-based assessments.

The post emphasizes holistic, person-centred care for individuals experiencing first-episode psychosis and involves venepuncture, ECGs and collaboration with the MDT.

• Experience of working with people experiencing mental health difficulties.

• Part-time availability and flexible patterns to support service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical health assessments in clients’ homes and clinic settings.
• Undertake venepuncture and ECG as required.
• Support with monitoring for high-dose antipsychotics, lithium, Clozapine, mood stabilisers and depot clinics.
• Participate in vaccination clinics and promote physical health within MDT.
