Job summary

Falkirk Council Education Services invites applications for a part-time Early Years Officer at Woodburn ELC Centre. You will deliver high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors and build positive relationships with children and families.

PVG and SSSC registration requirements apply, with PVG membership to be maintained. The post is 22.2 hours, Wednesday to Friday, term time and permanent within Falkirk Council Education Services.

Qualifications

• HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Must be registered with or seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• PVG scheme membership to be gained or maintained.
• Part-time, 22.2 hours, Wednesday to Friday, term time and permanent within Falkirk Council Education Services.

Responsibilities

• Promote and deliver high quality play and learning indoors and outdoors.
• Establish positive relationships with children and families.
• Work as an effective team member and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
• Adhere to current Early Learning and Childcare procedures and guidelines.
