Job summary

Bright Horizons Kings Hill Day Nursery and Preschool in West Malling, Kent, is seeking an Early Years Assistant for 15-20 hours per week, 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. You will join a supportive team caring for babies and children up to age 5, engaging in play and learning activities.

The role emphasizes building trust with children, parents and colleagues, with DBS checks completed and a culture inspired by HEART values. A passion for making learning fun is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience with children preferred but not required.
• Ability to develop trust with colleagues and parents.
• Strong communication with both children and adults.
• Enthusiasm for making learning fun and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Engage in interactive play, activities, reading and fostering curiosity.
• Support children’s development towards their key milestones.
