Kindred Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join our nursery team in Northampton. You will support children through play, learning and daily routines, helping create a warm, home-from-home environment while developing your own skills within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years or childcare settings is desirable.
• Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates are desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support children through play, learning and daily routines.
• Help create a warm, welcoming and home-from-home environment.
• Assist in delivering engaging activities that encourage curiosity and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children's daily routines, helping them feel happy, safe and secure.
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
• Observe and celebrate children's achievements, supporting their learning and development.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Work with colleagues to provide outstanding care and education.
