Job summary

Bath Spa University is seeking a Development Manager for The Studio, a fixed-term, part-time role (0.8fte) based at The Studio - Palace Yard Mews. The post supports strategic growth, revenues, and KE priorities, including The Studio Innovation Fund and partnerships for Boost funding.

You will design paid development programmes, launch a paid graduate programme, and build scalable income-generating initiatives aligned with the KE strategy and regional priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or enterprise support.
• Experience in income generation and partnership development.
• Background in creative/technological industries preferred.
• Experience in a university or innovation hub setting.
• Familiarity with graduate employability programmes and KE funding.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement paid development programmes for Studio Residents.
• Develop and launch a paid graduate programme to support employability and retention.
• Create bespoke support packages that leverage paid expertise and consultancy.
• Lead the rollout of The Studio Innovation Fund and support partnerships applying for Boost.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with The Studio’s growth objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate KE and HEIF outcomes, ensuring impact reporting and evidence.
