Job summary

MYA requires an experienced Detached Youth Work Team Leader to support young people’s development in the Dovecot area. The role leads a small team of detached youth workers, engaging hard-to-reach youths with creativity and energy.

The post involves coordinating co-designed programmes for young people with complex issues, including anti-social behaviour and risk-taking. This is a part-time, fixed-term position funded to 31 March 2027.

• Experienced, committed and innovative Detached Youth Work Team Leader.
• Strong youth engagement skills with ability to build relationships with hard-to-reach young people.
• Experience in planning co-designed programmes for young people with complex needs.
