Job summary

MYA is seeking a passionate Youth Participation Worker to support the Liverpool City Region Youth Combined Authority. The role involves facilitating youth voice sessions online weekly and at least three face-to-face meetings per year for a diverse group aged 13–18 (up to 25 for some groups).

The post is part-time (17 hours/week), fixed-term until 31 July 2027, with potential extension, reporting to the Line Manager and based in Knowsley.

Qualifications

• Qualified Youth Worker at Level 3 or above (or equivalent)
• Experience with participation and youth voice settings
• Experience facilitating inclusive youth voice sessions using structured models
• Knowledge of the Lundy Model of Participation

Responsibilities

• Facilitate youth voice sessions with diverse groups online and in person
• Support delivery of the Liverpool City Region Youth Combined Authority work
• Collaborate with line manager and partner organisations to plan activities
• Reflect on sessions and adapt activities to participant needs
