Job summary

John Lewis Partnership's Waitrose is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring quality produce and friendly service to customers' doors. You’ll help stock and keep the shop tidy when not on the road.

This part-time role requires a full UK B-category driving licence (max 6 points), excellent customer service, and the ability to lift crates. Working 15 hours weekly on Mondays and Saturdays, you’ll be part of a supportive, partner-led team.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Able to cope with physical requirements (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Able to work independently with self-motivation and adaptability.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare your van for deliveries, ensuring orders are ready for customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and ensure road safety compliance.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Waitrose with a focus on customer service.
• Assist customers and build rapport during deliveries.
