Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose, delivering quality produce and partner-led service to customers’ doors. The role starts in-store, with responsibilities including route checks, van preparation, safety checks, and assisting the shop team when needed.

Qualifications

• Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Able to work independently with self-motivation and adaptability.
• IT literate and comfortable using basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Check daily delivery routes.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries and ensure orders are ready for customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and safety.
• Represent Waitrose brand with high-quality customer service on the road.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support shop team with general shopkeeping tasks as needed.
