Job summary

Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member in Romford. The role involves working in a fast-paced store including bakery duties, with a 6am-12pm pattern across three mornings per week, and the option of overtime. You will be part of a friendly team delivering essential services to the local community.

You’ll receive full, paid training and must be aged 18 or over due to early/late shift requirements. Salary includes London allowance and the role supports community engagement and membership benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over to apply.
• Part-time role: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Assist in-store bakery and post office as required.
• Keep shelves stocked and prices/dates up to date.
• Promote Co-op membership and assist customers with online services by picking and packing orders.
