Job summary

Co-op Group in Tonbridge is hiring Customer Team Members for part-time hours (16 hours per week) with regular overtime. Shifts include 3pm-7pm and weekends, with a role spanning in-store bakery and potentially post office duties.

Full training is provided, and applicants must be 18 or over due to early/late shifts. You’ll join a friendly team delivering essential services to the community, maintaining stock, assisting customers, and promoting Co-op membership.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Support bakery operations and daily store tasks as needed.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with store policies.
