Job summary

The Orthotic Works, based in York, is seeking a part-time Customer & Operations Support to join a small, friendly team. The role covers customer service, order management and event administration, with predictable hours Tue-Thu 10:00–16:00.

You will handle calls and emails, manage bookings, assist production with orders, and support event coordination. Prior admin or customer service experience is desirable; training will be provided. £12.50–£13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication via phone and email.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers and rapid learning of new systems.
• Experience in customer service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and handle customer enquiries (virtual only).
• Manage appointment bookings and calendars.
• Assist with orders processing and production prep.
