Job summary

B&Q Eastwood is hiring a Customer Advisor for a part-time 20 hours per week role on a 3‑month fixed term contract. The position is based at Eastwood and features a £13.10 hourly rate with shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 6.00am to 10.15am. You’ll join a team focused on customer service, stock management and store presentation.

Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, with emphasis on delivering friendly, knowledgeable help to customers and supporting overall store operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing and enjoys helping others.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Willing to learn new technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with home improvement needs and provide advice.
• Manage stock, set up displays and maintain store appearance.
• Learn paint‑mixing and timber cutting where offered.
• Deliver great in-store service and support customers throughout shopping.
