Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd. is recruiting an ambitious SDP Curriculum Manager for a London-based, part-time role. You will lead the development and delivery of the Self Development Programme for 16-19 learners and oversee tutors and resources to ensure a current, inclusive, and impactful curriculum.

You will have substantial experience in designing or delivering PSHE or personal development for young people and the ability to handle sensitive topics while safeguarding is at the core of your practice.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification required or desirable.
• Level 2 English and maths.
• Experience designing, developing or delivering PSHE/personal development.
• Experience with young people aged 16–19.
• Ability to facilitate challenging conversations with structure and safeguarding.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and delivery of SDP across the 16-19 Study Programme.
• Teach approximately 12–14 hours per week.
• Lead and develop the SDP tutor.
• Keep curriculum current, inclusive and challenging.
• Inform curriculum with learner voice, research and external expertise.
• Ensure learning is well-sequenced for different learners.
• Facilitate sensitive conversations confidently and appropriately.
• Create an environment for questioning, reflection and thinking.
• Oversee SDP resources and subcontracted delivery.
• Support development of PSHE within the organisation.
