Job summary

Confidential is seeking a part-time Credit Controller in Blackburn to manage a high-volume ledger, chase outstanding payments and maintain strong client relationships.

Hybrid pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home after probation, with a salary up to £29,000 per annum and flexible core hours.

Key duties include end-to-end credit control, processing payments, producing aged debt reports and supporting the Credit Control Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Proven credit control experience in a high-volume ledger
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and dispute-resolution abilities
• Good Microsoft Excel skills with attention to detail
• Proactive, target-driven and results-focused approach
• Experience with SAP B1 is desirable

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end credit control for a high-volume portfolio
• Proactively pursue outstanding payments via phone and email
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Customer Service to resolve queries
• Process and allocate incoming payments accurately
• Maintain comprehensive records of credit control activity
• Produce and review aged debtor reports and escalate as needed
• Support team leaders on escalated accounts and wider projects
