Job summary

Confidential in Wrexham is seeking a part-time Credit Controller to join the finance team on a 12-month contract. You will manage customer accounts, chase payments, and maintain accurate ledgers while working in a supportive team environment with hybrid working options.

The role focuses on cash flow management, relationship building with customers, and timely resolution of payment issues. 20 hours per week, flexible across five days.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Good problem-solving skills and practical issue resolution.
• Intermediate Excel skills including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
• Confident written and verbal communication; ability to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and monitor balances.
• Issue invoices, statements and reminders.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain collection records.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment queries.
• Process and allocate incoming payments.
• Produce aged debt reports to support cash flow.
