Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a part-time Credit Controller to support a friendly finance team in Bishop's Stortford. The role is 18 hours per week, office-based, on a fixed-term contract of around 10 months.

Salary is £13,000–£14,000 per annum, with the opportunity to manage end-to-end credit control and maintain strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will handle sales ledger tasks, chase overdue accounts, allocate payments, and assist with month-end reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in credit control / accounts receivable.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems/ERPs.
• Highly organised, accurate, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team on a part-time basis, supporting the business through a period of leave. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys end-to-end credit control and building strong customer relationships.
