Job summary

Confidential is seeking a part-time Credit Controller to join the finance team in Bishop's Stortford. The role is office-based, 18 hours per week, and fixed-term for about 10 months to cover a period of leave.

You will manage the sales ledger, chase overdue accounts, and maintain customer records while building strong relationships. The ideal candidate has proven experience in credit control, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in credit control / accounts receivable.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems/ERPs.
• Highly organised, accurate, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Allocate payments, raise customer statements and resolve invoice queries.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate customer records/credit limits.

Part-Time Credit Controller

Location: Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire (office-based)

Hours: 18 hours per week

Contract: Fixed-term (expected duration: 10 months)

Salary: 13,000 - 14,000, pre annum

We're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team on a part-time basis, supporting the business through a period of leave. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys end-to-end credit control and building strong customer relationships.
