Job summary

Wellington Eagles Primary Academy is seeking a positive, adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide classroom cover during absences, manage student behaviour and support learning activities in line with school policies. The role is part-time, term-time only (39 weeks) with approximately 22 hours 20 minutes per week.

When not covering, duties may include tasks directed by SLT. The school offers a supportive environment, a clear progression path and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or supporting students in a school setting.
• Ability to manage student behavior in line with school policies.
• Reliable, adaptable and positive approach to supporting learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover in the absence of teaching staff.
• Assist with student activities and learning tasks.
• Support SLT as required.
