NHS Borders School Nursing and Care Experience Team has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Staff Nurse (Band 5) to work in the School Nursing Team. 21 hours per week part-time in a community setting, within NHS Borders.

Internal vacancy only for NHS Scotland staff. The successful candidate will liaise with AHPS, Paediatric Department, Education, Social Work and CAMHS, with support from senior School Nurses.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and being a keen team player.
• Experience of working with Children, Young People and their Families in a multi-professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with AHPS, Paediatric Department, Education colleagues, Social Work colleagues and CAMHS teams.
• Prioritise workload and manage time effectively while supporting development within the School Nursing Team.
