Job summary

Balivanich Clinic within NHS Scotland is seeking a Community Nurse – South Team (Band 5) on a 22-hour-per-week permanent contract. The post involves delivering nursing care at patients' homes across the Isles of Uist, with a focus on prevention, anticipatory care and supported self-management.

Applicants should have some community nurse experience, be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to participate in on-call and weekend rotas.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have some experience of working within a community nurse setting.
• You will need the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• You will be a car owner/driver with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to people in their own homes across the Isles of Uist.
