Job summary

We Are With You in Dunoon is seeking a Community Link Worker to join our team. The role involves 15 hours per week across Tuesday to Thursday, with travel between GP practices, home visits, and community venues.

You will provide tailored support, both in person and remotely, to people facing mental health, housing, and poverty-related challenges. The post is part-time, based in Dunoon with an emphasis on community engagement and collaboration with primary care teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people in community settings and vulnerable groups.
• Ability to travel between GP practices across Dunoon and wider Cowal.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Committed to confidentiality and safeguarding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 support to individuals in GP practices, homes or community venues.
• Coordinate with GP practices and local services to link people to appropriate support.
• Provide remote support via phone or online platforms where appropriate.
• Participate in induction and training and reflect with the team to improve service delivery.
