Job summary

Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa in Glasgow is seeking a Part-Time Commis Chef to join our luxury kitchen team. You will support the Chef de Parties, prepare ingredients for service, maintain top-notch hygiene and food safety, and develop your skills in a 5-star environment.

We offer flexible contracts: 16 hours over 2 days or 24 hours over 3 days per week, with a warm, inclusive team and opportunities for growth within IHG’s global portfolio.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a professional kitchen as a Commis Chef, Chef or Apprentice Chef is preferred.
• Keen to learn, develop and build a career in the kitchen.
• Attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and dishes for service in a busy kitchen.
• Maintain excellent kitchen and food safety standards.
• Learn from an experienced team to develop skills and grow within the role.
• Support the wider Kitchen brigade and assist the Chef de Parties.
