Job summary

Corpus Christi College in Cambridge is recruiting a part-time College Porter to join our friendly team. The 25-hour week is split between our two site campuses, where you will provide a consistent front-of-house service for students, staff, Fellows and visitors.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication, a customer-focused approach and attention to detail, able to handle difficult situations calmly.

Job description

Corpus Christi College are recruiting for a new Part-time College Porter to join our professional and friendly team. This is a post of 25 hours per week, with the hours split between the College’s two site campuses. The postholder will be required to work across both campuses, providing a consistent, welcoming and professional front-of-house service and ensuring that the needs of students, staff, Fellows and visitors are met effectively at each location.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, customer focused with a friendly and welcoming manner, excellent communication skills and attention to detail. They will also need the ability to deal with difficult situations calmly and efficiently.
