Job summary

Pembrokeshire College in Haverfordwest is seeking a Counselling Assistant on a 22.5-hour week contract (36 weeks per year). The role involves delivering a counselling service to staff and learners on campus, with some online delivery by agreement, and sessions held at the College.

Qualifications

• Minimum BACP accredited qualification at level 4.
• Experience counselling young people 16+ is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a counselling service to staff and learners within agreed timelines.
• Carry out approximately six client meetings per day.
• Regularly liaise with Health & Wellbeing Officers for staff and learners.
• Work on College premises in Haverfordwest; face-to-face sessions with potential online delivery by agreement.
