Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking drivers to deliver frozen meals across the UK with a warm, friendly customer service ethos. The role operates 8 hours per week, 1 in 6 days including bank holidays, in a -20ºC coldstore environment with protective clothing provided.

Expected to drive safely, assist the office and picking teams, and engage in local marketing activities to grow new customers.

Qualifications

Experience within a customer service-based role.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
Evidence of work stability.
Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner.
Picking orders within the coldstore.
Using our app to update customers deliveries.
Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
Ensure customer confidentiality.
Helping the office team and picking team when required.
Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday.
Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
