Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor in Exeter on a 20 hour contract to join our Retail team. You’ll work with an energetic team and engage with customers to deliver an excellent in-store experience.

You will help achieve sales targets, handle till operations, assist with merchandising, and keep the store clean and inviting. Prior retail experience is helpful, but our focus is on passion for the brand and delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly manner compatible with Saltrock culture.
• Passion for selling and engaging with customers.
• Strong visual merchandising awareness.
• Proficient with till operations and cash/card handling.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand.
• Create a welcoming in-store experience for customers.
• Maintain store housekeeping to a high standard for a healthy, safe environment.
• Provide product information, features, benefits and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and replenished as needed.
• Assist with merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Handle deliveries; perform keyholder responsibilities.
