Job summary

Saltrock in North Devon is seeking a Sales Advisor on an 8 hour contract to join our Retail team. You will engage with customers, help maintain an inviting store atmosphere, and process sales transactions with care, while keeping stock and visuals well presented.

You will contribute to achieving sales targets and provide product knowledge and excellent customer service in a fast-paced coastal brand environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy store.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness in-store.
• Comfortable with till operations and card payments.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by engaging with customers and processing transactions with care.
• Create a welcoming store environment and maintain high energy with the team.
• Maintain store housekeeping to ensure a safe and pleasant space.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within set timelines.
• Keep product tidy, well presented, and restock as needed.
• Support merchandising efforts following brand guidelines.
• Process deliveries to keep stock up to date.
