Job summary

Bupa UK in Winchester is seeking a Clinical Counselling Psychologist to join Mindplace for face-to-face care. The role is permanent, part-time (minimum of 2 days per week) with shifts including some late, weekend availability, and a strong emphasis on high-quality therapeutic outcomes.

You will deliver assessments, provide education on living longer, healthier lives, and collaborate with the therapy team within corporate guidelines. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
• Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
• General adult mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence-based intervention.
• Offer models of service delivery: face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.
• Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
• Work within sessional limits based on the client’s Private Medical Insurance allowance.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and monthly team meetings.
• Collaborate with the operational and clinical team to improve client and employee experiences.
