Job summary

Norse Group in Ipswich is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to support the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service contract. The role runs 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-12pm, with travel across sites using a company van.

Based in Ipswich, you will supervise cleaning teams, check standards, manage stock, and stay in regular contact with the Facilities Manager to ensure the service is delivered as agreed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or supervision across multiple sites.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the cleaning team across the contract including leave, sickness, and general queries.
• Visit sites regularly to check standards and address concerns.
• Help manage cleaning stock, keep stores organised, and handle orders.
• Liaise with staff, site contacts, and Facilities Manager to resolve issues.
• Provide toolbox talks and basic training, and cover during absences.
