Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative at St Malachy’s College in Belfast to deliver high-quality cleaning across client areas. You will work to a professional standard, ensuring spaces are clean, tidy and well maintained in line with requirements.

The role requires 16.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 15:30-19:00) with a pro rata benefits package including holidays, pension and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service and strong attention to detail.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for safety instructions.
• Previous experience in customer service is an asset.
• Current BICS qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of cleaning in line with client specifications.
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer requirements.
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers, labs and amenity areas site-wide.
• Replenish stocks and ensure equipment is maintained and safe.
• Follow health, safety and company procedures at all times.
