Job summary

Sodexo in Bury is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our friendly team. You will help keep kitchens, meeting rooms, offices and toilets clean, safe and welcoming while following health and safety procedures.

The role suits someone with attention to detail, good communication and reliability. Training will be provided, and BPSS security checks are required to support a respectful, secure site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role is preferred.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken.
• Reliable and proactive approach to work.
• Understanding of confidentiality and security requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, offices and toilets.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation site-wide.
• Keep supplies topped up (toilet roll, soap, sanitizer, wipes).
• Follow health and safety procedures including COSHH and PPE usage.
• Work safely, report hazards or faulty equipment to your Line Manager.
• Be flexible to cover other areas or absences when required.
