Job summary

Concept Resources are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cleaner to work at a government office in Cowdenbeath. This is a long-term temporary position, ideal for someone with previous commercial cleaning experience who is looking for consistent evening working hours.

Concept Resources is seeking a capable cleaner to perform duties across offices, washrooms and communal areas, with diligent attention to hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• BPSS Clearance Required: Candidates must be willing and able to complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening.
• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Must be comfortable working alone.
• Willingness to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system if required.
• Ability to use a telephone-based attendance system.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, communal areas, corridors and washrooms.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Dusting and sanitising desks, surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing washroom supplies.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Working independently and completing all allocated cleaning duties.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
• Using the mandatory telephone clocking-in and clocking-out system.
• Following site security procedures, including key holding and alarm operation where required.
• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed within the allocated shift.
