Job summary

Concept Resources are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cleaner to work at a government office in Newbury.

This is a long-term temporary position with consistent evening hours, ideal for someone with previous commercial cleaning experience who is looking for regular shifts and responsible access to the site.

You will work independently, follow health and safety procedures and use the clocking-in system.

Qualifications

• BPSS clearance required and willing to complete screening.
• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, communal areas, corridors and washrooms.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Dust and sanitise desks and high-touch surfaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish washroom supplies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Work independently and complete all allocated cleaning duties.
• Follow site health and safety procedures.
• Use the telephone clocking-in/out system.
• Follow site security procedures, including key holding and alarm operation.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated shift.

• Following site security procedures, including key holding and alarm operation where required.

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• BPSS Clearance Required: Candidates must be willing and able to complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) screening.
• Must provide valid Right to Work documentation at induction.
• Must be comfortable working alone.
• Willingness to act as a key holder and operate an alarm system if required.
• Ability to use a telephone-based attendance system.
• Reliable, punctual and available for evening shifts.
