Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join the team at Wigan Police Station (WN5 0UP) on a permanent basis. The role is 20 hours per week, with shifts Monday to Friday 10:00am–14:00pm.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety for staff and the public, and complete required training including GMP vetting where applicable. We offer a competitive package and benefits; COSHH knowledge is preferred, with support for learning and development.

• COSHH knowledge preferred but training will be given.
• Previous experience as a cleaner.
• Previous experience in a customer facing role.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety / Cleaning requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, toilets, furniture, bins and waste.
• Attend training programs to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes.

Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaner to join our team in Wigan Police Station, WN5 0UP on a permanent basis, This is a part time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £14,026.46 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday 10:00am - 14:00pm

What will you deliver?

As the on-site Cleaner, you'll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public.

To undertake general cleaning duties as required including but not limited to the following: cleaning of floors, toilets, furniture and fittings, emptying bins and other receptacles and removal of rubbish.

You will be required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self‑development purposes.

You will be required to go through enhanced vetting by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) covering criminal history.
