Job summary

Amey is hiring a part-time Cleaner for HMP Manchester. The role is 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 07:00 and 17:00, and no weekend work. Location is HMP Manchester, 1 Southall Street, Manchester.

You will join a facilities team to maintain a clean, safe environment across the prison estate. Key duties include delivering high cleaning standards, ensuring areas are safe and well-presented, managing stock and consumables, and using equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in large facilities or similar environments.
• Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely and follow safety procedures.
• Reliable and able to work independently within a prison environment.

Responsibilities

The Role

This role is subject to Prison Security Clearance, including a Standard DBS and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC). Amey will support you through the process.
