Job summary

Equans is hiring multiple Part time Cleaners to join our team at Gatwick Airport, RH6 0PA, on a permanent basis. The role is 15 hours per week with a salary of £11,544.00 annually and a benefits package.

Responsibilities include cleaning designated areas to high standards, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, and operating cleaning equipment. You must pass security vetting, including CTC and Airside Pass, to work at the airport.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety Level 1 (including COSHH and Fire Safety).
• At least one year's experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience using cleaning equipment safely.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.

Job description

Equans is looking for multiple Part time Cleaners to join our team at Gatwick Airport, RH6 0PA, on a permanent basis working 15 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £11,544.00 Annually and benefits package.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday, working between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

What will you deliver?

As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for passengers, staff, and visitors. You will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are consistently delivered across the site.

• Carry out cleaning duties in designated areas to agreed standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all building users.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management.
• Support the delivery of a first-class service.

Important Security Requirements

Due to the nature of this role and the airport environment, successful applicants must be able to pass and maintain the following security clearances:

• Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
• Airside Pass

Please note: Appointment is subject to successfully passing all required security vetting and pre-employment checks.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain CTC
• Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport to travel to site.
• Flexibility to work within the operational hours required.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience & Qualifications
