Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking a part-time administrator for the Children and Young People Ward at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The role provides essential support to nursing and medical staff, with Welsh language Level 3 required.

The position is 25 hours per week with shifts 8:00am–8:00pm on weekdays and 9:30am–8:00pm at weekends, including bank holidays on rota. Applicants should have strong admin skills and a commitment to patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience of admin and clerical duties in a busy healthcare setting.
• Confidential handling of patient information and data protection awareness.
• Strong organisational and communication skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Data inputting, admitting and discharging patients,
• Answering the telephone and dealing with families,
• Prepare case notes and filing, maintaining medical records with accuracy.
