UK Addiction Treatment Centres’ Banbury Lodge is seeking a Part-Time Chef to prepare and serve nutritious meals for clients, considering dietary needs and therapy goals.

You will plan menus with the Centre Manager, ensure kitchen hygiene, and work as part of a supportive team in a safe, caring environment. A passion for cooking and commitment to quality meals is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a professional chef.
• Ability to plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Ability to accommodate dietary needs and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare menus with the Centre Manager, ensuring a variety of choices including vegetarian options.
• Accommodate religious, cultural, and therapeutic dietary needs as advised by healthcare professionals.
• Prepare nutritious, appealing, and well-balanced meals while ensuring kitchen hygiene and safety compliance.
• Supervise residents in basic kitchen duties as part of therapeutic activities.
• Report faulty appliances or hazards to the Centre Manager or Maintenance Team.
