Job summary

Priory Group is recruiting a Part-time Chef at Priory Hospital Altrincham. This 20-hour-per-week role offers a fixed annual compensation of £14,672 and sits within Site Support Roles.

The successful candidate will plan, prepare and cook meals, respect dietary requirements, and support a calm, safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications

• NVQ2 level qualification or equivalent in catering.
• Basic qualification in food hygiene.
• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience producing meals for large groups on time and to budget.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes planning, preparation and cooking of meals with dietary considerations.
• Ensures compliance with Food Safety policies and regulations.
• Takes full shift responsibility for catering operation when Head Chef is absent.
• Manages stock control, orders and delivery reconciliation.
• Monitors food production to minimize waste.
