Job summary

Get Golfing CIO, a charity with a mission to make golf more accessible for all, seeks an experienced Chef to join our team at Cobtree Manor Golf Club. The role is part-time and job-share, offering flexible hours and potential overtime.

As a key member of the kitchen team, you will help deliver high-quality dishes, work with the Food & Beverage Manager, and contribute to menu planning in a busy, member-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Allergen and intolerance knowledge.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious dishes.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to the established menu and quality standards.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to menu planning and the development of new dishes.
• Support and train other kitchen staff as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure all dishes are served in a timely manner.
