Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a Chef on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) to prepare and serve high-quality meals and support menu development, while upholding brand standards.

The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, a Food Hygiene certificate, and supervisory experience. You will thrive in a fast-paced catering role and contribute to sustainable, customer-focused food services.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Flexible approach to working.
• Passion for great-tasting food and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Act on customer feedback to improve services.
• Assist with creating new menus and concepts.
• Represent Eurest and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations.
