Job summary

Wales & West Housing Group in Prestatyn is seeking an Extra Care Assistant for a 6-month fixed-term, part-time role at Nant Y Mor Extra Care Scheme. The position also covers Cleaner or Catering Assistant duties, with 15 hours allocated to Catering and opportunities to pick up cleaning shifts.

The role focuses on catering and cleaning tasks, not personal care. £13.45 per hour, daytime lunchtime service, and regular weekends off are provided. DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas following schedules and infection control procedures.
• Serve residents meals and assist with dining setup and clearing.
• Assist in kitchen with small prep tasks and keep kitchen and dining areas clean.
• Follow food hygiene and safety standards and report concerns.
• Provide a welcoming, supportive presence for residents.
